Salford City or Port Vale will be ball number 8 in Thursday’s Papa Johns Trophy Quarter Final draw, which will take place at 11.45am on talkSPORT.
The Vale’s initial Round of 16 tie at the Peninsula Stadium was postponed due to a part-frozen pitch and is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday 20 December (7.30pm kick-off).
The Quarter Final draw will take place during Thursday’s Jim White and Simon Jordan show on talkSPORT with two-time EFL trophy winning manager Kenny Jackett, who won the competition in 2006 with Swansea City, and also in 2019 with Portsmouth after a thrilling penalty shootout victory against Sunderland in front of a record crowd of over 85,000 at Wembley Stadium.
Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers, Lincoln City, Accrington Stanley, Cheltenham Town and Bristol Rovers all confirmed their place in Thursday’s draw on Tuesday night, while – like Vale and Salford City – Plymouth Argyle’s clash with AFC Wimbledon will also be played in the week commencing 19 December.
