Port Vale Football Club is applying to host a ‘beamback’ of the final Sky Bet League Two game of the season which would allow Valiants to watch a live stream of the game at Vale Park.
Port Vale FC was allocated around 1,300 tickets for the fixture on May 7 and that allocation sold out this morning (April 14). The club is convinced that even if the allocation had been doubled, such has been the demand for tickets for the fixture that a much larger allocation would also have sold out and still left some fans disappointed.
In an effort to avoid fans travelling to Exeter without tickets for the game and to allow Vale supporters to be together for this memorable occasion the club is seeking permission to arrange a ‘beamback’ on to a large screen at Vale Park.
There are significant hurdles to overcome in order to acquire the necessary permissions to screen the game but Port Vale FC is committed to working with partner organisations and relevant authorities to try to give fans the safest and best possible experience on May 7.
The club will update supporters on the application for the ‘beamback’ as soon as possible.
