Global QA Consultants help PVFC Foundation

Donations to the PVFC Community Hub come in all shapes and sizes and every single one is greatly received by Community Project Co-ordinator, Sadie Haynes, who then sends out vital food packages to families in need across Stoke-on-Trent.

The delivery on Monday 25th January was slightly different, it was a collaborative effort by Global QA Consultants, The Silver Crane Company and Owens Road Services to get a 20-pallet delivery of food items from Poole in Dorset to Vale Park covering 217 miles there and back.

Sara Parker, the Business Development Manager at Global QA Consultants, said: “A large part of our business is working with food industry implementing BRC Global Standards and over time we have noticed many are often throwing away food, so it has been great to make a connection between our clients The Silver Crane Company, based in Poole, Dorset and the Port Vale Foundation who will be able to send out the food as part of the community hub”

Sadie Haynes, who oversees the Port Vale Community Hub said “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the delivery and support from Global QA Consultants, The Silver Crane Company and Owens Road Services.

The donation will greatly benefit local families and other local community groups and it will ensure the support that we offer is felt citywide”

The Port Vale Foundation have been delivering meals as part of the PVFC Community Hub alongside the Hubb Foundation, Synectics Solutions and Summit Hospitality.
