Thanks to all of the #ValiantEfforts so far, we have managed to provide a number of vulnerable individuals with food packages.
We are still accepting food donations in our collection point which is based opposite the main reception.
Not only that but our Foundation community coaches are about to be stationed in schools offering support for key workers’ children. This offer is open to any school who may need extra staff support.
Over the next few weeks, the club and the foundation will release some challenges to keep you and your children active indoors.
Tom Sherratt Head of Community at Port Vale said: “It’s important that we, as a community club, continue to offer as much support as we can to those who need it most.
If you or someone you know needs help don’t hesitate to get in touch with the football club, we can arrange a food parcel for those who can’t get to the shops or we can lend an ear to those who want a chat.
I’m extremely proud of the team at the Port Vale Foundation for continuing to deliver for our community albeit In a very different capacity from what they’re used to.
Together we will use the power of Port Vale to ensure our communities are well looked after, safe and entertained during these testing times.”
COO of Port Vale Football Club Claire Halket added: “We are currently working hard behind the scenes to come up with ideal ways of supporting the city and to plug any gaps that we may have. That is why it is so important that people contact us if they either need or can provide help, that way we can step-in or sign post accordingly.
I too am proud of all aspects of the businesses coming together from Synectics, PVFC, PVFT, The Hubb Foundation & Summit Hospitality who are sharing resources in order to provide for our city during these unprecedented times.”
If you’re a local business that would like to help by donating any none perishable food or long life items please get in touch by emailing: foundation.trust@port-vale.co.uk or info@thehubbfoundation.com
