David Worrall has picked up the Port Vale Player of the Season award for the 2019/20 campaign.
The wide man picked up a staggering four awards at the end of season awards presentation including the Supporter’s Club Award, the Official Away Travel Player of the Year, and a joint Player's Player of the Year award on top of his Player of the Season award.
Worrall’s 5 goals and 12 assists throughout the season were critical to our success in both our league and FA Cup campaigns.
Luke Joyce was named as the joint Player’s Player of the Season, after a string of impressive midfield performances during the 2019/20 season.
Tom Pope’s iconic goal against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup third round unsurprisingly won the Goal of the Season award.
Pope was also awarded with the club’s Top Goalscorer award, having scored 10 goals across all competitions over the course of the season.
Scott Burgess’ debut season with the Valiants was a successful one and has ended up with the 23-year old winning the Young Player of the Year award.
