Jimbo passed away on April 5th 2020 at his home in Sneyd Green, aged 82 years.
Devoted husband of Mavis, dearly loved dad of Alan & Tina and Paul & Shireen, proud grandad of Joe, Jake, Will, Tom, Isaac, Eden, Lila, Edi, Florence and Hermione, dear brother of Sylvia and Dennis and a special brother-in-law of Roy, Marion and John.
Jimbo will be fondly remembered for his love of life, mischief and infectious laugh by all his family and many, many friends.
He supported the vale all his life and had many friends and family that accompanied him to games. You would usually see him peering down the bank at the back of the railway stand before games with his pipe in hand doing some funny dance moves or hugging fellow valiants, even if they probably didn’t want to be hugged!
He will be sadly missed at games but his legacy will live on in his two sons and grandchildren. Rest Easy, Valiant.
