The club can confirm that Carol and Kevin Shanahan have completed the purchase of Port Vale Football Club.
The first action has been for the club to purchase Vale Park in its entirety and bring it back under the ownership of the club.
All future revenue generated within Vale Park will remain within Port Vale Football Club.
On behalf of the club, Carol and Kevin would like to thank everybody for their huge support during the process and they look forward to the future success of Port Vale.
After taking over at Vale Park, both Carol and Kevin spoke exclusively to the club, and they expressed their delight in getting the deal over the line.
Owners of local business Synetics Solutions, the duo can't wait to get to work in their new roles as owners of Port Vale, the club they support.
Carol said: "We talk about the Port Vale family and there are a lot of people who have disappeared over the years, but one of our first aims is to get them back.
"To me, Vale Park is the family home and we want to be proud of it when away supporters come here, so we want it to be in the best condition that it can be. It's going to take a lot of time and there is a lot of work to be done on this stadium.
"We've always wanted to help Burslem and I've held the view that a successful football club helps its community, so we thought that if we can help make it successful then it will benefit the area - that's what we're going to do."
Kevin added: "It is just a humbling and magnificent feeling all at the same time. We had almost 1,000 fans at Bury supporting a team that had just squeaked clear of relegation, and there was nothing to play for, so they are phenomenal.
"If we can just tap into that and give these people a bit of what they want, it will be an unbelievable place to be."
