Port Vale can confirm that Louis Dodds has returned to Chesterfield following his loan spell at Vale Park.
A popular figure around the club, Doddsy made a total of 17 appearances during his second spell at the club after joining early on in the transfer window last summer.
On his return to Port Vale the striker linked back up with captain Tom Pope with whom he'd played with in his first spell at the the club, and formed a formidable partnership alongside him. Doddsy proved influential in providing advice and guidance for some of the younger players, especially our upcoming defender James Gibbons.
We'd like to place on record our thanks to Louis for his efforts and commitment during his time here at Port Vale, and wish all the success in the future.
