Every month more and more women are left with the difficult choice of either buying sanitary products or buying food. Many choose the latter, to buy food for their kids and themselves and go without appropriate sanitary products.
Without suitable sanitary products, many have been forced to find alternatives to tampons and pads.
At Port Vale we are extremely proud to be teaming up with Period Power and Stoke on Trent City Council to provide sanitary wear in female toilets around Vale Park.
We are pleased to be able to help eradicate period poverty. We feel women having to find alternatives to tampons and pads is a dilemma that no women should face.
