As their week long pre-season trip to Madrid with five other English Football League clubs continues, the team got ready for their first game in Spain. The boys will take on Aravaca, and Luke Chambers updates us on how they have prepared.
Wednesday 31st July - Today started with an early wake up at 6:30 ready for a 7:30 breakfast. After breakfast we began training with our usual coaches focusing on set pieces for tomorrow’s game against Aravaca.
We then had another host session hosted by Aravaca. The lads really enjoyed this session as it gave us yet another insight into how different Spanish teams play.
After, we had a recovery session in the pool which helped everyone to relax and recover as we focus on tomorrow’s game. Overall the lads have really enjoyed the experience of being coached by another Spanish club. We all look forward to playing our first game tomorrow against Spanish opposition.
