Port Vale host League One outfit Burton Albion in Checkatrade Trophy action tonight, but what happened last time the two sides met?
Burton came out the victors on both occasions when the two sides met during the 2015/16 season, winning 2-0 at home and 4-0 away.
Though I'm sure Neil Aspin will be hoping his side can replicate their heroics of 2013, when Port Vale put seven past the Brewers.
On the 5th April 2013, Vale beat Burton Albion 7-1 at Vale Park courtesy of goals from Lee Hughes, Chris Birchall, Tom Pope and Ben Williamson.
Lee Hughes began the procedures by finishing off a Daniel Jones cross, neatly heading into the corner, before being taken down inside the box to give the Valiants a penalty. The forward made no mistake sending the Brewers stopper the wrong way.
Chris Birchall curled in a third just minutes later before Hughes completed his hat-trick, scoring from the spot again.
Tom Pope added his 32nd goal of the season to become the leading goal-scorer in the Football League prior to a late-brace from subsititute Williamson to well and truly send the Brewers packing.
Matt Paterson scored a mere consolation on 70 minutes though proved Burton's only threat throughout the entire game.
