Port Vale and Notts County stand united for Leicester City

Footballing rivalries will be cast aside when we host Notts County on Saturday with both sides set to warm up in identical tops in support of Leicester City.

The shirt will bear the Foxes’ club crest on the front and deliver a message of condolence across the back as Leicester come to terms with the tragic passing of their owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite said: "It's a beautiful gesture, one which we fully support alongside Notts County.

"Everybody in football was devastated with the news that came from Leicester City this week, and it's unimaginable what the club, and the family and friends of those who died, are going through at the moment.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Leicester City Football Club.

"At such a difficult time it's heartwarming to see football bringing us all closer together, and we are pleased to be showing solidarity alongside Notts County at the weekend."
