The English Football League have announced that Anthony Backhouse will be in charge for Port Vale’s home clash with Stevenage.
Backhouse has officiated in 29 games this season, including:
14 League One games
11 League Two games
2 FA Cup games
1 EFL Cup games
1 EFL Trophy games.
He has so far given out 89 yellow cards this season and four reds.
This isn’t the first-time Backhouse has officiated at Vale Park this season, where he was in charge of Vale’s 1-0 victory over Barnet.
He will be assisted by Gareth Mellor and Lee Freeman, with Craig Taylor acting as the fourth official.
