Port Vale travel south on Tuesday night as they face Barnet in Sky Bet League Two, with the Football League having appointed Brendan Malone as referee for the fixture.
He has only taken charge of two games in the Football League this season having been the man in the middle for Wycombe Wanderers versus Coventry City on the 27th of February, and also Crawley Town against Morecambe last weekend.
Both of those matches were in Sky Bet League Two, and over the course of the two clashes, Malone has branded nine yellow cards and no reds.
His assistants on Tuesday night will be Andrew Aylott and Samuel Ogles, while the fourth official has been confirmed as Louis Marks.
