Go straight across the first two roundabouts. Then you will see the entrance on the left to the large official car park which is normally free.
WHERE TO PARK:
Car park by the ground is normally free.
OVERVIEW OF THE GROUND:
On one side is the impressive all seated covered Main Stand. Oddly at the back of the stand on either side of it, there are large gaps between the back of the roof and the stand below. In the middle of the stand at the back, there are a number of glass fronted areas to various Club offices.
Opposite is the fair sized East Terrace, which is covered and quite steep. It has a gable with a clock sitting on its roof by the half way line, adding a little character.
At one end is the South Stand, given to the away supporters – an electric score board on this stand. Opposite is the North End which has a small covered terrace.
WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE SEATED:
Away fans are located in the South Stand with room for up to 1,400 fans. This is a relatively new stand affording good views and facilities.
WHERE TO GET A DRINK:
There is a Club House at the ground which is popular with both home and away fans. There are no notable pubs near by, but chain pubs line the road towards the town centre.
WHERE TO EAT:
Across the roundabout there is a Business Park that has various eating outlets such as Pizza Hut, McDonalds and Burger King.
Vale supporters found the egg and bacon baguettes served in the ground very tasty, although strong jaws were needed, so the dentally challenged should consider taking their own soft baps! There were also chips and the normal pies, pasties and burgers. The refreshment bar was a cut above the average.
