It was a weekend full of goals in Sky Bet League Two as 25 strikes found the net across the 12 games played on Saturday.
Grimsby Town and Lincoln City played out the only goalless stalemate, leaving the sides 15th and 11th in the decision respectively.
In contrast to that, the highest scoring match featured Exeter City and Morecambe. It was the Grecians who came out on top with a 4-1 win, meaning they sit second in the division. Morecambe lie 21st following the result.
Table toppers Notts County did fail to achieve the same feat, however, as Mansfield Town earned a 3-1 victory to edge closer to the play-off positions in eighth place.
Accrington Stanley take up the final automatic promotion slot as it stands and their 1-0 triumph at Forest Green Rovers leaves the Football League newbies at the foot of the division.
Chesterfield also remain in the bottom two as they suffered a home defeat to Cheltenham Town who lie comfortably in a mid-table position.
Elsewhere, Coventry City saw off Crewe Alexandra at the Ricoh Arena to move up to fourth. The Railwaymen’s defeat was their fifth in succession and they now sit in 19th place.
Luton Town, Stevenage and Wycombe Wanderers make up the top seven following successes against Newport County, Port Vale and Barnet respectively.
The other games in League Two saw Yeovil Town go down at home to Colchester United, Swindon Town beating Cambridge United and Carlisle United edging last Crawley Town.
