It was a mixed week for the players out on loan from Vale Park as Harry Middleton featured in his first game for Halifax Town and Joe Slinn’s Stalybridge Celtic getting a good victory against Rushall Olympic.
Middleton made a solid impression at The Shay Stadium where he featured for Halifax for his debut. After signing for The Shaymen on Friday, the 22-year old midfielder started in the 0-0 draw over Woking in the National League.
Graham Kelly’s Bradford Park Avenue knicked a solid 1-0 victory over North Ferriby United in the National League North as they moved to 7th in the table.
Luke Dennis featured in the 4-3 loss against Sheffield FC for Newcastle Town. After a solid start for Town, the “Oldest Club in World Football”, snatched victory at the death.
Finally, Joe Slinn’s Stalybridge Celtic defeated a solid Liam McDonald Rushall Olympic side. The score was 3-2 in the end, as Celtic rose to 19th in the Northern Premier League.
