We can confirm that after amicable discussions it has been agreed with Remie Streete, that the defender will be leaving the club.
Remie’s contract was set to come to an end following the conclusion of the 2016/17 League One campaign, and he has expressed his desire of wanting to play at the highest level that he can.
The defender has been a key player for Vale this past season, forming a superb partnership with Nathan Smith at the heart of the back four.
Streete has also had a huge impact at the other end of the field, having scored six goals for the club this season.
In total, Remie has played 60 times for Vale, scoring six goals, since his arrival from Newcastle United back in 2015.
Everyone at Port Vale would like to thank Remie for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
