As the 2016/17 season came to an end a few weeks ago, attentions turn towards the next campaign and the pre-season schedule.
We can confirm that we will be on the road, with our first game getting underway on Saturday the 8th of July, away at Kidsgrove Athletic.
Next up, a trip to Newcastle Town on Tuesday the 11th of July, with kick-off set for 7:30pm at the Lyme Valley Stadium.
Michael Brown and his side then head to Buxton on Saturday the 15th of July, with a slightly earlier kick-off time on a weekend, of 1:30pm.
Then, the first home game of pre-season will see Sky Bet Championship side, Derby County travel to Vale Park on Tuesday the 18th of July.
The Valiants are back on the road then on Saturday the 29th of July with a trip to National League side Chester.

- July 29th – Aston Villa (H) – 11am K:O
