Jeff Stelling Discusses Vale

As Port Vale prepare for the new League Two campaign and with fixtures set to be released later this month, Jeff Stelling took some time during his March for Men to share his thoughts on the club's chances.

With Michael Brown still working hard to recruit new faces for the upcoming season, the Sky Sports Presenter knows that tackling the fourth tier won't be easy.

He said: "It is a big challenge because you have got to change the attitude. When you go in as a relegated side, it is easy to take that losing mentality through to the next campaign.

With that in mind, Stelling emphasises that a positive start could have a massive impact in forging a winning mentality.

He said: "That is key, start well, start quickly. There are some good sides in the division, although I would say three of the biggest teams in Doncaster, Plymouth and Portsmouth have gone up.

"I think the league will be wide open, Luton are probably going to be the ones to beat, but if you get off to a good start then the sky is the limit.
