On Friday 21st July 2017, walking footballers from across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent attended a comedy show held at ROFL comedy club organised by Port Vale FC Walking Footballer- Kelvin Knapper.
During the night, money raised from a raffle has been kindly donated to the Foundation Trust. This will help to buy new equipment for the walking footballers who attend the Port Vale walking football session.

Sarah Minshall, Inclusion Officer at Port Vale Foundation Trust attended the show and said: ‘It was a fantastic evening- full of laughs and great entertainment. We are very grateful to Kelvin who organised a great night out for the walking footballers and their families which also resulted in money being raised for the Foundation. This is greatly appreciated by all of us at the Foundation.
For anyone wanting to give walking football a try, Port Vale Foundation Trust offer a weekly session at Co-op Academy, every Tuesday 7.00-8.30pm. It’s a great way to get active, meet with friends and enjoy the beautiful game.
