VACANCY - Football Development Officer

Port Vale FC Foundation is looking to appoint a football development Officer to join the developing foundation team throughout its community programmes.

The position is fixed for an initial 12 months with the view to a permanent post. 

Port Vale Foundation is looking for a passionate individual who can lead a team and assist with the expansion of the current coaching delivery within the Foundation. This innovative role will aim to sustain and develop the current football development programme through school club links, holiday courses, development centres and the elite education provision.

Alongside this you will work closely with the academy, girl’s development programme, disability programme to provide an elite pathway to gifted and talented players.  

The candidate must understand the importance of planning, delivering and evaluation projects and have a passion for community engagement through the vehicle of a professional Football Club. 

All successful candidates must hold a minimum FA UEFA B License in coaching football, Youth Award Module 3, an in date FA safeguarding  protecting children and First Aid certificate.  All coaches will be required to be a member of the FA licensed coaches club holding an enhanced DBS certificate or subject to an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing. 

Closing date for the all applications is Friday 28th April 2017 5pm with all interviews taking place wk commencing 8th May 2017.
