The striker has been recognised for his efforts in the month of September.
In form striker, Alex Jones, has been nominated by the PFA for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month.Jones has scored four times in September and has taken his tally to six for the season.
Alex found the net late on against Gillingham to earn all three points for the Valiants and also scored a last minute penalty at Peterborough to snatch a point.
