Bruno Ribeiro Talks Family

Since Bruno Ribeiro arrived to Port Vale, he has always spoke of the word ‘family’ to describe his players.

The manager wants his team to be a family and to fight and play for one another and at the weekend he was delighted with that.

Talking after the game, Bruno spoke about his ‘family’ and how well they played as a team to get the three points.

He said: “We got another clean sheet and we were good and organised and this is our team and family and when we play as a team everything is different.

“Grant and Amoros were brilliant; they are two strong midfielder’s who understand what I want.

“With them it’s easy because they allow the other four to go forward and we are then organised all and we don’t concede.”

Another player who has the caught the eye of Bruno recently, is young striker Dan Turner, who made his first appearance of the season.

Turner has been on loan at Kidsgrove, where he scored five goals in four games and that form earned him a place in the match day squad.

“Dan is in the plans, he came back and I told him I want you on the bench for me against MK Dons.

“He comes in and he is a player I like. He went away to improve for a month and I’m very happy with him.

“He scored some goals at Kidsgrove and he will work hard for us and he will be on the bench again in the next game.”
