Port Vale’s Foundation Trust will be running a one-day goalkeeping camp for children of all abilities aged 5-14.
The programme will consist of goalkeeping specific sessions including handling, distribution, shot stopping, diving and SAQ.
All sessions will be delivered in a fun, safe and positive learning environment which are designed around the FA’s long term player development model (LTPD), aimed to develop the technical, tactical, social and physical aspects of young players.
Afternoons will consist of fun games and competitions such as penalty shootouts and crossbar challenges.
The day will conclude with a presentation of awards and prizes.
All sessions will be delivered by the Club’s Development and Academy Goalkeeping coaches. All staff are FA qualified, DSB checked, hold current first aid certificates and safeguarding certificates.
Times: 9am – 3pm
