Ajay ‘Raring To Go’ In Last Six Games

Port Vale striker Ajay Leitch-Smith is raring to go after making his comeback from injury.

The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Valiants lost to Barnsley on Easter Monday following a few weeks out.

Prior to that spell on the sidelines, the forward had been in impressive form having scored eleven goals in his previous 21 appearances.

Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, Leitch-Smith insisted he is looking forward to making an impact in the last six games of the season.

“I’m raring to go now,” he said. “That was my first game and there are six more to go and they can’t come quick enough.

“It’s always frustrating being injured but it makes you stronger and I’ll come back stronger so I’m just ready to go now.”
