Over 50 children took part in the Port Vale Foundation Trust’s Mini Euro 2016 May half term soccer school.
The three day course consisted of each age group staging their own version of this summer’s major tournament. Every day finished with an awards presentation where each child was acknowledged.
The soccer school was delivered by FA qualified staff at Dimensions leisure centre in Burslem.
Tom Sherratt, the Club’s Foundation Trust Manager, told port-vale.co.uk: “We had a fantastic turnout for our May soccer schools.
“Considering this is a time of year when a lot of families go away on holiday, the fact we had over 50 children attending was credit to everyone involved.
“We’ve had some excellent feedback and everyone who came along thoroughly enjoyed the sessions we put on.
“It was also nice to build some more excitement for this summer’s European Championships.”
The Foundation Trust’s next soccer schools will take place during the six-week school summer holidays.
