Port Vale’s Sam Foley says he is enjoying the license he has been given to get forward recently by manager Rob Page.
The 29-year-old has been deployed just behind in-form striker Ajay Leitch-Smith in the last few games.
Foley could make his 30th appearance for the Club on Sunday when Vale take on Millwall in Sky Bet League One.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD ahead of the match, the former Yeovil Town man admitted he’s enjoying his new role.
“Like I’ve said before I’m happy to play anywhere that the manager puts me and I’ll give my best no matter what,” he said.
“I’ve played this sort of role before at other clubs I’ve been at and I’ve enjoyed it. It allows me to get forward with Browny sitting in and being that defensive shield.”
