Each season the Club must choose one game to dedicate to the work of the charity and help raise money for it and this year our encounter with Steven Pressley’s side has been selected.
Speaking to port-vale.co.uk, Vale boss Page and summer signing Foley discussed how important it is that everyone shows their support.
The manager said: “We do it every year. I think it’s important to show and raise awareness and if we can support it in any way then we’re more than happy to do that.”
Foley added: “It’s huge. It’s a massive part of the game but also life in general. Many people have been touched by many different forms of cancer.
“So for the Club to show it’s support is a massive thing and hopefully the fans can see that as well.”
