Jak Alnwick was pleased to keep another clean sheet as Port Vale had to settle for a goalless draw with Fleetwood Town.
The goalkeeper had a few saves to make against the Cod Army and stood up well to every shot he faced as the Valiants picked up a point.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after the match, the 22-year-old was delighted with yet another shutout.
“It’s always a good place to start from [a clean sheet],” he said. “The manager said if you keep a clean sheet it’s obvious you’ve got a chance of winning the game.
“So that’s where we’re starting from, we’ve done well defensively this year so a clean sheet is always nice to come away win.”
