Port Vale Football Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with local fitness equipment supplier, Matrix Fitness.
The company has joined the club’s Business Alliance, and has agreed to provide state-of-the-art equipment for first team and academy use in the Vale Park gym.
A two-year agreement has been put in place, meaning Matrix has committed to the club through to the end of the 2016/17 season.
Jordan Neville, Port Vale’s Commercial Manager, said: “As a football club we are always looking to expand our client database and I'm delighted to announce this new partnership with Matrix.
“The Port Vale Business Alliance has been a huge success so far and I'm pleased Matrix has decided to join at the highest possible level.”
Head Physiotherapist, James Rowland, and Performance Coach, John Harbin, added: “We are delighted to have secured a deal with Matrix which will allow us to develop the functionality of the club’s rehabilitation area, improve our training preparation, and emphasise our professional approach to strength and conditioning throughout the squad.”
Commenting on the partnership, Head of Marketing at Matrix Fitness, Gemma Bonnett, said: “Matrix Fitness is proud to partner with several sporting individuals and teams, and we are pleased to welcome local team, Port Vale Football Club, to ‘Team Matrix’.
"By working in collaboration with sporting talent, we aim to inspire and motivate people to participate and achieve their goal; whether that is general fitness, weight loss, or winning competitions, and we are excited about the potential opportunities arising through this new association.
"We are also committed to supporting grass-roots’ talent, and are delighted that both the first team and the Academy players will be benefitting from the installation of Matrix Fitness equipment at the Vale Park facility.”
