Port Vale assistant manager/first team coach Paul Bodin is looking forward to the challenge of his new role.

Having been a youth team coach at Swindon Town and Premier League side Southampton, Bodin is now relishing the opportunity to coach at first team level.
Speaking to Valiant Player, the former Welsh international admitted he can’t wait to get stuck in to the job and get to know the players.
“It’s going to be great starting from pre-season, we’ve got a clean slate if you like.
“We’re waiting on players to come back and obviously new players who may come in so they’ll have a good understanding.
“I’ve got to know them, they’ll get to know me and we’ll earn each others’ trust and obviously I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
