4,048 Miles To Travel In 2015/16 League One Season

Port Vale fans will travel a total of 4,048 miles next season – that’s around 626 less than in 2014/15.

Burton Albion, Bury, Shrewsbury Town and Southend United have all swapped League Two for the third tier in place of Leyton Orient, Crawley Town, Notts County and Yeovil Town, meaning the Valiants will be on the road for 596 less miles for those trips.


The shortest journey of the new season will be to local rivals Crewe Alexandra, whose stadium is just 14 miles away from Vale Park.


Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium will be the furthest trip with a massive 203 miles separating the Kent outfit and the Valiants.
