We know all but two of the Valiants’ opponents for the new campaign with the League One and League Two play-off finals still to be played.
Blackpool, Millwall and Wigan Athletic will drop down from the Championship, while Burton Albion, Shrewsbury Town, Bury and either Southend United or Wycombe Wanderers will make the jump up to the third tier.
Preston North End and Swindon Town will battle it out this Sunday to decide who will be promoted from League One, while the loser will remain in the division and therefore face Vale next season.
Bristol City and MK Dons secured promotion to the Championship while Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, Crawley Town and Notts County were all relegated meaning they will be playing League Two football come August.
