More Coaches And Pitches To Be Provided
Due to the amount of interest in Port Vale’s Grassroots Development Centres, the club will be providing even more coaches and pitches to play on this weekend.
Just shy of 100 children turned up to the last session and we expect an even greater number of people this Saturday.
As of this coming weekend, 5-7 year olds will be indoors while eights year-olds and over will be on the 3G pitches.
Participants are asked to arrive at around 9.30am to avoid queuing and to ensure the sessions start as promptly as possible.
Vale’s Steps To Excellence offer a unique opportunity within the professional game for children and young people to progress from playing grassroots football to potentially becoming a first time player.
The Grassroots Development stage allows children of any ability to come along and receive coaching to help improve their game.
The centres are held at Dimensions Leisure Centre, Scotia Road, Burslem, ST6 4ET.
