has been ruled out for approximately two weeks with a groin strain. Byron MoorePort Vale winger
The 26-year-old, who joined the Valiants during the summer, suffered the injury in the away loss to Sheffield United earlier this month.
The midfielder will now have an injection which should allow him to return to action in around a fortnight, depending on how the injury reacts.
Moore has made 18 appearances for Vale this term and has scored one goal, against Doncaster Rovers in a 3-0 win at Vale Park.
Vale manager Rob Page said: “We’re disappointed for Byron but we’re hoping the injection will allow him to return soon.
“It has been a frustrating season for him but he has shown from his performances over the last few months that he has the quality to benefit this football club.”
Everyone at Port Vale would like to wish Byron a speedy recovery.
