Port Vale goalkeeper Ryan Boot is keen to carry on learning from Chris Neal and Sam Johnson after signing a new contract.
The young shot-stopper’s new deal means the club will be keeping together the same goalkeeping core as last season.
Chris Neal has another year remaining on his contract at Vale Park while Sam Johnson put pen to paper on a new 12-month deal earlier this week.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, Boot said he has enjoyed working with the duo so far and hopes to continue absorbing knowledge from them both.
“They’re a great bunch of lads,” he commented. “I’ve learned a lot off both of them over the past few years and I will continue to do that hopefully.
“Chris helps a lot, Sam helps a lot but I’ve got to kick on now.”
