Port Vale will discover their opponents for the first round of the 2015/16 Capital One Cup on Tuesday 16th June, just one day prior to the Sky Bet League One fixture release.

Last season Vale were drawn against Hartlepool United in the first round and beat the Victoria Park outfit emphatically by a 6-2 score line at Vale Park.
Striker Ben Williamson bagged a first half hat-trick and fellow forward Tom Pope scored a brace. Michael Brown got the Valiants’ other goal.
That result sent the club through to the second round where they faced Sky Bet Championship outfit Cardiff City.
The tie signaled the end of Vale’s participation in the competition as they were beaten 3-2 by the Welsh side.
