Vale Boss Talks To Valiant Player Ahead Of Posh Clash
- The Valiants take on Peterborough at Vale Park at 3pm tomorrow.
- Page is hoping for a reaction from his players against the Posh.
- The 40-year-old manager thinks his squad contains the right kind of characters.
Rob Page believes Port Vale have the right characters in the dressing room to muster a reaction against Peterborough United this weekend.
The Valiants face Darren Ferguson’s side at Vale Park on Saturday, kick-off 3pm, on the back of a disappointing loss to Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium.
After a positive week in training, Page is hopeful his players can get back to winning ways and take the game to the visiting Posh.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player ahead of the game, the 40-year-old Vale boss praised the attitude of his players and claimed they are raring to go this weekend.
“I think we’ve got the right sort of characters in the changing room that will be bitterly disappointed after the [Chesterfield] game,” he said.
“They will want the next game to come as soon as possible to put right the wrongs of that game and I know they’ll be champing at the bit ready to get involved in the game.”
