Frederic Veseli Signs Port Vale Deal

Defender Makes Switch To Vale Park

Port Vale can confirm the signing of former Manchester United and Manchester City defender Frederic Veseli on a contract until the end of the current season.

The 22-year-old had been on loan at the club from Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich Town since the start of the 2014/15 campaign.

A string of impressive performances by the Swiss centre-back meant Rob Page was keen to keep him and, following Veseli’s release from Ipswich by mutual consent, Vale moved quickly to secure his signature.

The young defender has started in the Valiants' last eight fixtures and played a key role in the club’s busy but successful Christmas period.

On the signing of Veseli, Vale boss Page said: “We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Freddie. He is a fantastic addition to a strong squad and one that we are very happy to have made.”
