Freddie Veseli On New Port Vale Deal

Defender Speaks To Valiant Player About New Deal

  • Centre back signed contract with Vale earlier this week
  • Will remain at the club until the end of the season
  • 22-year-old delighted to have got the deal sorted

Port Vale defender Freddie Veseli insists he cannot pinpoint just one reason why he signed a permanent deal with the club because there are too many to pick from.

The 22-year-old centre back put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at Vale Park until the end of the current season, following his release by Ipswich Town.

Veseli has been an important member of Rob Page’s squad over the last few months, starting in each of Vale’s last eight games.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, the young Swiss defender admitted there were many factors behind his decision to remain at the club.

“I don’t know what [the one reason] would be because it’s an all together thing; the way we want to play, the players already here, the ambition of the squad, the manager and everyone around us,” he said.
