Greg Luer Joins Vale On Loan From Hull City

Striker Makes Switch To Vale Park On Loan

Port Vale have completed the signing of Hull City forward Greg Luer on a month-long loan.

The 20-year-old joined the Premier League side at the start of January and has now made a short-term switch to Vale Park.

A prolific striker at non-league level, Luer was a regular scorer for previous club Burgess Hill and has continued to impress in front of goal for the Tigers’ development squad since his move to the KC Stadium.

Speaking about the acquisition of the youngster, Vale manager Rob Page said: “Speaking to Tony Pennock at Hull City, they have invested in Greg and believe he has real potential.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to bring him in. He’s an athletic lad with pace so he gives us a different option and he’s a great addition to the squad.”
