Dany N’Guessan Leaves Port Vale By Mutual Consent

French Forward Departs Vale Park

Port Vale can confirm that Dany N’Guessan has left the club by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old, who signed for the Valiants in October before extending his deal in December until the end of the season, is understood to be moving abroad.

Formerly of Rangers, Leicester City and Southampton, N’Guessan made 12 appearances for Vale, scoring against MK Dons, Gillingham and Sheffield United.

Speaking of the French forward’s departure, club chairman Norman Smurthwaite explained: “When Dany joined Port Vale, it was agreed that if he received a more lucrative offer from elsewhere, and subject to us agreeing terms, he would be allowed to leave and I am a man of my word.”

Manager Rob Page added: “Dany has been a top professional throughout his time at the club.

“We would like to thank him for all of his hard work and I know that everyone here wishes him the best of luck for the future.”
