Port Vale held a networking event for its Business Alliance members on Thursday and it proved a massive success.
The club invited all of its new partners to Vale Park’s Chris Bayley Lounge and the commercial department presented its plans moving forward.
Representatives from the likes of Staffordshire University, Stoke City Council and Staffordshire Sport were in attendance.
Commercial Manager Jordan Neville felt the evening was helpful and informative for everyone involved.
“It was great to get all of our Business Alliance clients together for the very first time,” he commented.
“We feel that holding events like this regularly will be useful for both the businesses involved and the Football Club moving forward.
“It’s a great way of brining local companies from the community together and networking amongst each other.”
Tom Sherratt, the club’s new Foundation Trust Manager, also spoke at the event to introduce the new initiatives Port Vale will implement in the local community.
He told port-vale.co.uk: “It was fantastic to be able to show off the club’s new Foundation Trust to some of the key businesses in the community.
“We explained how those companies can get involved, whether that be via sponsorship or simply helping the Foundation deliver its four main themes.”
