insists he and his players will be as professional as possible heading into this weekend’s clash with Fleetwood Town. Rob PagePort Vale boss

Although both sides have secured safety for next season and the play-offs are out of reach, the Valiants’ manager believes there is still plenty to play for.

Vale face Graham Alexander’s Cod Army at home early on Sunday afternoon, kick-off 12.15pm, in the last round of Sky Bet League One fixtures.

Speaking to Valiant Player ahead of the match, Page says he wants his side to end the 2014/15 season in style and send the fans home having seen a win.

“That’s the aim,” he commented. “We’re in this because we want to win games of football and everyone of them has got to be professional.

“There’s a hell of a lot to play for both individually and as a team. We want to win the game and give a good account of ourselves on the final day.”
