“Dream Come True” For VIP Vale Fan

Fan Gets The Full Hospitality Treatment

Vale fan Ben Mullock described it as “dream come true” when he won the chance to be Prostate Cancer UK's VIP for Saturday’s game against MK Dons.

Lifelong Vale fan Ben, who is 25 years old, was looking forward to experiencing hospitality at the club.

“I was a mascot when I was 10, 15 years ago against Crewe, which was night game so we’ve not done anything like this,” he said

“We’re going for a walk around with the players and everything it’s a dream come true, it’s great.”

And Ben explained how he won his chance to be a VIP, saying: “ I got a phone call saying I had been draw out and that I was to come here and obviously this is what we’re doing. It’s a perfect weekend; hopefully we’ll get three points.”

Ben also wanted to warn people about the dangers of Prostate Cancer and how important it would be to get regularly checked.

“I know a few people who’ve had Prostate cancer” he said. “And it’s something people do need to be aware of. It’s easy to put off but it’s that hard to keep checking yourself, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

“It’s your own health at the end of the day.”
