Mark Marshall Delighted To Find Net In Colchester Victory

Winger Finds Net In Win Over U's

Port Vale winger Mark Marshall was delighted to score against Colchester United in Saturday’s 2-1 win after weeks of coming so close to finding the net.

The 28-year-old got the opener at the Weston Homes Community Stadium to send the Valiants on their way to Rob Page’s first victory as permanent manager.

The Jamaican midfielder has been disappointed with his goal return so far this season but admitted it felt great to finally net his third of the campaign in Essex.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player following the win, Marshall said: “I’ve been taking enough shots over the last few weeks or months I should say so it felt really good.”
