February Nominations
MANAGER OF THE MONTH
FEBRUARY NOMINATIONS
The February nominations for the
Sky Bet League 1
Manager of the Month Award are:
Nigel Clough (Sheffield United)
A frantically busy February combined four wins from five games with FA Cup progress as United embraced their manager’s principles of hard work and solidarity. His team kept four clean sheets and moved up to mid-table.
Steve Evans (Rotherham United)
His attacking principles were on full show as Rotherham continued their free-scoring ways. They hit at least two goals in every February game, including victory over Leyton Orient, for a haul of 10 points from four matches.
Simon Grayson (Preston North End)
An emotional month for all concerned at Deepdale was made a touch easier by performances on the pitch. Grayson instilled consistency into his team as they collected three wins and three draws for 12 points in February.
Kenny Jackett (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Circumstances limited his team to three games in the month, but he masterminded a pivotal 3-0 victory at promotion rivals Brentford as Wolves picked up maximum points without conceding a goal to move top of Sky Bet League 1.
ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY MARCH 7 2014
