Veseli Happy to be a Valiant

January, is pleased to be at Vale Park and learn more about the game from manager Micky Adams. He also believes it is a great opportunity to play in a league higher than he did last season, while on loan at Bury.thNew signing Frederic Veseli, who signed earlier today from Ipswich Town on a loan deal ending on 4

The official site spoke to the defender earlier today and he said:

“I’m happy to come to Port Vale on loan. The interest from Micky Adams was a deciding factor in making me want to come to Vale Park, especially after Ipswich made the decision for me to go out on loan to get some game time.

“I want to take as much as I can from this move, I’m looking to improve my game, and help the club as much as I can. In the process I would also like to progress my career further.

“I’m going to come here, work hard from day one and give everything I can like I always do, to work my way into the managers plans.”

The Swiss defender had good things to say about his new manager after speaking to him and to a number of other players about him, before he joined the Vale.

He continued: “When I spoke to the manager he said that he wanted to work with me as he’d heard good things about me. For me, that’s a positive, as he is quite a famous manager with a really good track-record and everyone I spoke to said good things about him, so I couldn’t turn down that opportunity.

“I’ve spoken to a couple of players that have played under Micky and they all said positive things about him. The team also finished in a good position last season with a lot of clean sheets, which is obviously a nice thing to see for a defender so it’s going to be a good experience.”

Freddie knows another recent signing at Vale, Ryan McGivern, which will hopefully make the move easier for the ex-Manchester City and Manchester United youngster.

He continued: “The players here are quite nice. I trained with them this morning and got on with them really well. I know Ryan from my time at Man City, which has made the transition a bit easier.”
