The holy one shines again… Pope strikes back
In recent weeks The Pope’s been getting that hungry Grewy didn’t know whether to send water bottles or food parcels onto the pitch during a lull in play. Amid widespread crucifixion on Tom’s game in recent weeks he managed to achieve the one saving grace of Saturday’s otherwise dour tussle with ‘Bogeyboys’ Swindon. It was an almighty relief to see Popey squeeze a close range snap shot past Robins’ keeper Wes Foderingham to take his tally up to a not so crucifiable 10 for the season. One things for sure… if Pope keeps putting the criticisms to the back of his mind and keeps his work rate up he’s sure to continue smiting his critics with his thunderbolt goals. After all everyone has a dry patch now and again… Feed The Pope!!!
